exams drive you mad
maybe only for those of you who live in high rise apartments, sometimes do you hear sounds akin to a marble dropping on your ceiling? well, when i was younger (read: primary school) there came those scary stories about how when the construction people build the buildings, they put marbles in between the different levels for the erm, children from out-of-this-world to play with, so that they dont bother us people. when i went to ask my mum, who works in a company dealing with construction stuff, she said its bullshit.
either its cos recently i've been spending more time at home instead of hall in solitude and quietness, or because exams are really screwing the bolts out of my brains (or whatever's left of it), i keep hearing these sounds of marbles dropping. maybe just like what people say about the furniture creaking in the middle of the night (ie its due to some scientific explanation of expansion and contraction), it might actually be due to some logical reason which the science-idiot me dont know of. but meanwhile, sometimes, just sometimes, when i hear it at night when everyone else in the family is asleep, it kind of freaks me out a little and i have an urge to just call some other person whos still up at 3am (with a sad life mugging for exams) to ensure im still in erm, civilisation (on earth i mean). well at times i hear it in broad daylight too (like ten minutes ago, which prompted this blog entry), but at daytime, i think im just being dumb n scaredy cat-ish. and on a side note, i do pray about safety. hrmm.
but ive come to a conclusion after all these, exams DO drive you mad.
