i've just witnessed the epitome of insecurity, a not-too-badly executed (i must say) deception, and very, very intriguing behaviour. and proof of the most dangerous lies (places) might really be the safest lies (places). after all, no one checks on every single sentence you use to represent yourself. to think putting all biasedness aside, i gave the benefit of the doubt till i saw it with my very own eyes in the year books. at that point i wonder if i should be amused or sympathetic.
and of course, its living proof that honesty is indeed the best policy (for most things), cos no matter who you are, where you are, how far you can run, the truth never fails to catch up with you. and somehow i think, lies always hurt somebody. the being-lied-to, and esp the liar, living in constant fear of being exposed. indeed, i wonder why your friends would harm you so, instead of stopping you, join you in your lie, helping to entangle you into the web of deceit. and what im most intrigued about is - what for?
i guess i'll never understand. but it shudders me to think, who can you trust, if your supposed close companions lie to you so? we all need more innocence.
on a very unrelated side note, im a happy happy girl with the topshop/warehouse/selfridge/bensherman etcetc vouchers in my mail :D

closer than my closest friend...
my little sister is officially NC-16 restricted no more today. happy birthday (inserts nickname which shldnt be disclosed)!!! sorry you thought that big forever21 bag which contains erm my dress was your present. HAHA but hey i bought you nice presents too k.
from the little devil who used to bite my belly button cos your height was only till there anyway, to this big girl who borrows my clothes/bags/shoes, you've come so far. and somehow i've always wished that you'll have the nice carefree teenage years that i caused myself to miss out on. ah but i digress.
thankgoodness its your birthday so i let you get away with most things okaayyyy. like the sms you sent me that day:

zzz sisters. on a side note, this is a very happy n relaxed wk end with no work done at all. (ok i know company tut is tmr but i'll erm do it in the afternoon). vivocity today wasnt too bad since i got a new dress courtesy of mum. but the shops mostly arent open yet. and they seriously have a lack of food there, unless i didnt check the place out enough. hmm. we'll see when it opens proper in dec then (:

because midterms are over...
and im in jolly relaxed mood, im back, till i get bored again.
lots have been going on, but i figured days are gonna get boring ahead cos i want to stay in as much as possible and avoid this heck of the haze (can you believe as im typing the PSI is 150?!) thank goodness for air-conditioning. dry skin is better than clogged pores/throat. yikes sorry for the ugly image. so now im kicking back with some custard mooncake n tea, tracing back my steps for the past month or so.

Boy's birthday
life's been pretty good recent times. as long as my tailbone recovers, and i dont flunk my property or company. it's kind of worrying that the anti-inflammatory medicine isnt working that perfectly as wished, all i can do now is to wait to see an orthopedic next week. still praying on it.
